Kids Therapy Connection is a unique multidisciplinary therapy center that utilizes a family centered approach to help children maximize their potential. KTC offers evaluations, treatment and screenings in SPEECH THERAPY, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, PHYSICAL THERAPY and ABA THERAPY (Applied Behavior Analysis) in a fun and rewarding manner. In addition to our quality therapies we also offer tutoring, specialty camps, psychoeducational services, informative workshops and parent/teacher trainings. We can provide therapy at one of our beautiful centers located in South Miami and Doral, Florida or we can treat your child in one of the 70+ schools we service in the Miami area.
We provide quality services to children of all ages and varying disorders and difficulties. We have vast experience in areas such as but not limited to Learning Disabilities, A.D.D/ A.D.H.D Receptive/expressive language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Apraxia, Developmental delays, Executive Functioning, Feeding, Stuttering, Articulation, Delayed Motor skills and more! Our therapists are all fully licensed, bilingual and have extensive training and experience working with children. They all complete yearly continuing education courses to maintain and upgrade their professional skills, knowledge and competencies in each discipline. They design individualized programs that build on each child’s strengths while conducting therapy in a fun and loving environment.
Our focus is to positively impact the lives of children and their families by providing individualized treatment that allows them to develop the necessary skills to improve their future. We work closely with caregivers and other professionals such as teachers, neurologists, psychologists, pediatricians etc. to ensure that all persons involved in your child’s well-being are informed about the course of treatment and participate in your child’s progress.
Children learn best in a warm and supportive environment that involve games and rewards therefore we implement positive reinforcement strategies in each of our sessions. Therapy includes a range of fun therapeutic activities from floor time play to table top activities designed to meet each child’s individual needs and optimal learning environment.
My name is Karla Suarez and I am a bilingual speech-language pathologist and owner of Kids Therapy Connection, Inc. I am the mother of three young boys, born and raised in Miami, Florida. In 2005, I graduated from the University of Florida with a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders.
Over the years, I gained my vast experience evaluating and treating children of all ages and varying disorders in the private practice setting. In 2009, with the support of my husband and family, I decided to venture out on my own and start Kids Therapy Connection, Inc. to make my vision and dream of a holistic family centered multidisciplinary therapy center come true.
As a mother, I know how important the success of our children is in any aspect and I wanted to create a fun and loving center where families feel at home and trust in the quality treatment that we provide to their children. A place where children enjoy coming to receive our services because of the care and love we give them and the way we build their self-esteem in the process of maximizing their potential.
It is just as important to us that we give our parents the individual attention they need to voice concerns, ask questions, receive feedback and be a part of their child’s progress. Our reputation has grown rapidly and now we have two centers located in South Miami and Doral Florida and service schools in the Miami area such as Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Kendall, Pinecrest, Roads, South Miami, Little Havana, Homestead, Doral and more!
